NAVIGATING COMPLEXITY
Sleep Accreditation
Flexible, accessible solutions that add value.
I AM:
Sleep is complicated. Accreditation shouldn’t be.
Whether your organization conducts sleep testing in a lab, at home, or both, our highly customizable accreditation program is tailored to your needs. ACHC standards meet Medicare LCD requirements and still leave room for innovation and growth. Our process empowers you to add locations and services both upfront and throughout your accreditation cycle.
Welcome
I began my career in a hospital setting as a registered respiratory therapist, then I became a registered polysomnographic technologist and moved to the sleep disorders center. I witnessed the full spectrum of various teams diligently working together every day. I understand the intricacies of interdisciplinary care, the importance of clear communication, and the value of a seamless patient experience. I’m deeply invested in quality sleep testing and trust between providers and patients.
I receive positive comments from our customers on all aspects of the ACHC process, but many compliments focus on the professionalism and approachability of our surveyors. ACHC surveyors don’t simply talk to the “person in charge;” they engage your entire staff. We believe in education, and every member of your team deserves the opportunity to participate and learn.
Our experts are the best in the business. As your scope of service adjusts and expands, we’re here to support you.

ACHC Standards—the requirements you must meet to achieve ACHC Sleep Accreditation—are designed to be relevant to the focus of your business model. ACHC will work in partnership with you to build a customized accreditation solution based on your needs. View available services below.
Sleep Lab Accreditation is for sleep testing services conducted in Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTFs), as defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), physician-based testing facilities, or hospital-based testing facilities. Sleep Lab Accreditation includes all necessary Home Sleep Testing (HST) standards.
Home Sleep Testing Accreditation is a stand-alone option for polysomnography services that are conducted only in the home setting.

To receive Medicare reimbursement, your organization must meet federal requirements specified by the LCD for your MAC region. LCD coverage criteria may differ from one region to another, but ACHC Sleep Accreditation is accepted by all Medicare LCDs.
Which LCD requirements apply to you? Visit cms.gov regularly for updates, and use the CMS Medicare Coverage Database (MCD) to search for the latest information on your LCD.
