On August 1, 2025, CMS released the FY 2026 Hospice Wage Index and Payment Rate Update and Hospice Quality Reporting Program Requirements Final Rule. In this final rule, CMS provides updates to the payment rate, Hospice Quality Reporting Program, and Conditions of Participation. Hospice providers should familiarize themselves with these updated provisions which become effective October 1, 2025.
