It will include a link to the full article on our blog page where you can also filter and view past articles.

We understand that your time is valuable, so our team works to ensure that anything we communicate is meaningful to you.

Meet Record Requirements? New Form Simplifies Survey Prep

Client/patient records are a vital part of the accreditation survey process. When a Surveyor arrives for your on-site survey, your home care or home infusion therapy organization must provide several client/patient record reports during the opening conference. A new ACHC checklist (see details further down) is available to help you assess your organization’s compliance with client/patient record requirements.

Ready for CMS Changes?

New Medicare requirements for hospice certifying physicians become effective this May. The changes, included in the CMS FY24 Hospice Final Rule, are part of a CMS initiative to strengthen integrity and quality of care amid concerns over hospice fraud and waste.
